Born in 1986, Anahid Khatcheressian started the piano at the age of 4 and saxophone at 8.
In year 2006 she won the “First Prize in Piano, chamber music and musical training” at the National Chambery Conservatory ( France).
Being especially attached to the chamber music, she was admitted at the Conservatory of Lyon in Piano Accompaniment, improving and perfecting her skills in the class of professor Laetitia Bougnol, where she was graduated in 2010.
Laureate of the “Kauffman European Music Competition”, she profited from the lessons of such masters as Avo Kouyoumdjian at Vienna, Tatiana Evdokimova, Roberto Giordano, Alain Planès at Paris, and completed a musical training on accompanying classical dance at CNSM (Lyon) with Jean-Noel Siret.
As a saxophonist and pianist Anahid has participated in European tours of chamber music in Germany, Italy, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Romania and Czech Republic. She appeared as a pianist in various artistic media such theater, dance and opera.
