Julia Jech
violin

German violinist Julia Carola Jech studied musical education and violin in the conservatories of Köln and Hannover. While living in Madrid for one year she got her first introduction to tango by bandoneon-player Fabian Carbone. Back to germany she was part of the Hannover based "dúo abrazo" with violin and guitar.

While living in Hannover she experienced playing in different kinds of orchestras and chamber music groups, among them the "Pro Artibus" Kammerorchester where she participated in some CD- and radioproductions and the "Björn Vüllgraf Orchestra". She attended a couple of masterclasses for chamber music and took also lessons in baroque violin. Amongst her teachers are Ingeborg Scheerer, Jutta Rübenacker and Rolando Prusak.
As a teacher she has been working in different music schools, giving individual and ensemble lessons to people from all ages.
Since she came to the Netherlands in 2009 her focus is clearly on Tango although she enjoyes playing other styles as well.
